Within the asymmetrical area spanning 12 acres of Jeevess, there are tea plants and coffee plants aged more than hundred years. The main attraction of Jeevess is the same plush green tea plantation and coffee plantation. These plants stay high and tall all due to proper cutting and maintenance and protection.
Jeevess houses an absolutely different ethnic and exotic fruit garden within the Jeevess property. Right from the locally grown Wayanadan Jackfruit to the Mediterranean origin Olive awaits you here. We have in this way, more than 200 varieties native and exotic fruit trees present in the Jeevess fruit garden. Every fruit is treated on the basis of their quality and taste. In Jeeves, apart from the qualities and taste, there are fruits available of high medicinal value as well.
Jeevess has a section wise farming area near the pond for meeting the dietary requirements of the patients as prescribed in Ayurveda. We cultivate the rice varieties (like ‘raktashali, shashtika shali) and other cereals and millets like– fox millet and little millet are cultivated organically. The exclusive ayurvedic cuisine dining area is towards the East of admin block. This is known as Jeevess Bhojanalaya.
In front of the Nakshatra sasyangal, we have established a Poly House nursery and this unit built in the 1500 Sq.ft. area is an important unit at Jeevess. We have followed the scientific procedures to build this poly house nursery for the production of quality seedlings, seed propagation, collection and processing of seeds etc.
